DFO has tentatively opened up an FSC sockeye fishery, subject to official notice, August 1st - 4th. Snaw naw as will possibly be receiving food fish after the 2nd of August, depending upon official opening, fishing success, when the boat unloads, and transport time from Port Hardy. We wanted to give everybody a heads up and when more details become available we will advise asap. We should be able to freeze some for members who are unable to collect and are making arrangements for trucking and cold storage. An update will be provided saturday afternoon or before. We apologize for the short notice, but we just received a notice from Dfo.
